Gymnastics is a physical activity aimed at strengthening and maintaining good physical shape through a set of established exercises. Some forms of gymnastics are practiced as a competitive sport in which regulated sequences of exercises are executed that require balance, strength, flexibility, agility, endurance and control. The world body in charge of regulating competitive disciplines is the International Gymnastics Federation. Skating is a sport that consists of sliding on a regular surface using skates placed on the feet.

Ice Skating takes place on an ice surface, either natural or artificial.

Roller skates can be of two types: the classic, also known as quad, which has four wheels placed in pairs on two axles; and the inline skate, which has an arrangement similar to ice skates; replacing the blade with a guide that supports a variable number of wheels (between two and five) located one after the other.
